This Sturgeon Spearing Decoy measures a whopping 20" long. The body is 2 1/2" wide across the top. The larger of the fins measures 5 1/2" from end to end, the smaller measures 4 1/4" and the width of the tail is 3 5/8".
This fish is solid wood. It is weighted and has tin fins expertly affixed with screws. The tail is an inserted thin piece of plywood. It has tack eyes. It is an authentic spearing decoy dating from the 1950's by an unknown maker. It is painted black and is decorated with sequins.
